okay so this new version of dA...is awkwad. i keep trying to scroll up! haha. i appreciate the work from the dA peeps, and i'll get use to it, it'll just take awhile. no offences dA.
anyways with that rant, i shall rant on about my life...i visited CSU (colorado state university) today and it is totally cool. super pretty campus, friendly people, and completly green campus, both in the political and literal sense. it needs to be more diverse, but i thought it was an amazzzing campus. after sunday i must sadly depart with my laptop (which i fondly named skippy mcdoorag, don't ask) to attend a convention for a week >< how will i survive! i have become wayy to dependent on him. oh my gosh i saw like 3 ads for back to school! ACK! holy crap! much suckage. all i want to do is think about going to virginia beach soon and vet shadowing. oke doke, thats basicly it.

life behind this screen isn't all that exciting. lately, i've been waiting at my phone for an answer if i got a shadowing job at a vet clinic, going through all my room to get rid of stuff ( i haven't cleaned my room in like years, no joke), checking out new bands and websites, basicly being a bum right now. though there is a happy side, after i clean my room, my dad owes me a punching bag haha. so tomorrows the fourth of july, and i don't know about you, but i don't feel particularly patriotic. i guess more than usual because it is the fourth of july and olympics and presidental elections, blah blah blah, but i still don't feel a sense of nationalism. maybe i'll feel different tomorrow, but right now i'm pretty mellow-neutral. i would put content in the mood box-thingie but it won't load for some reason. my cat is snoring really loud right now. haha. well i signed up for twitter, so if you have an account, look me up. right now i know nobody: [link]

TODAY IS MY BIRTHDAY!! AIEEEE! I'm offically 16 now, whoot. even though my birthday will be basicly over in like 10 minutes i'm uber happy. First of all, today i only had a 4 hour school day (study hall and exam), techinicaly 2 hours because my teacher didn't care if we showed up for the study hall as long as we were there for the exam period. And since i took the AP test (for the college credit) i don't have to take the final, so for that 2 hour period, i got to sleep in and was on the computer making Tails run around (hooray for internet sonic! XD) for 2 hours. So then i got home and did basicly nothing until i had to go to my cousin's graduation dinner (kinda a bummer to be on the same night) It was okay, my family sang happy birthday, i talked with my cous's friend basicly the whole night, and got red stapler (OFFICE SPACE! ^^) with some other small gifts. Overall, it was a nice sixteenth birthday, and i get my truck (grandfather's former) in a couple days! happy birthday to me

well, with this being my first journal blog thingy, i should like introduce myself. hey i'm iris and i'm a new kid, relatively speaking. i can get super crazy sometimes, am totally weird, very loud (like that matters online), and pretty smart. i have a huge personality for someone whose 5 foot tall. i'm proud of my asian-ness, and fun-sized-ness. i love my music (basicly every variation of rock w/ select screamo), bassists, writing, doodling, everyday irony, converse, and Threadless. if you give me a bag of cool ranch doritos, i will devour them. well, if i sound interesting to you, sent me a message, i promise i will respond, and if i don't, well don't. bye bye
